MORPHIA is a collection of wearable sculptures developed from casts of the body and its anatomical fragments. Somewhere between ornament, armour and prosthesis, collection explores the body as something unfinished — capable of shifting, growing and becoming other.
MORPHIA #10 is part of the MORPHIA collection, a pair of wearable sculptures extending from the ear into elongated, unfamiliar anatomical forms. Cast in metal, the earrings resemble fragments of bone, cartilage, or speculative bodily growths, suspended from the body as if continuing its structure beyond its natural limits. Somewhere between ornament, skeletal trace, and prosthetic extension, the works explore the body as mutable — capable of elongation, transformation, and becoming other.
