MORPHIA is a collection of wearable sculptures developed from casts of the body and its anatomical fragments. Somewhere between ornament, armour and prosthesis, collection explores the body as something unfinished — capable of shifting, growing and becoming other.
MORPHIA #14 is part of the MORPHIA collection, a series of wearable neck sculptures that follow and extend the anatomy of the neck and upper body. Cast in metal, the pieces trace the body’s existing contours while transforming them into unfamiliar, speculative structures — somewhere between ornament, skeletal fragment, and prosthetic growth.
